Physical Description
Small, rectangular, cardboard box. The decoration of the box appears to be handmade. Part of a print was cut out and adhered to the lid if the box. The surface of the lid was then covered with a piece of glass edged in a paper trim, and then the rest of the box was covered with a handpainted paper. The print is of a man and woman sitting in the gondola of a balloon. The blue, pink, and yellow coloring appears to be hand applied. The print is labeled 'Sam Skylark,' and the number '23' appears in the top right corner of the image. The rest of the exterior of the box is covered with paper that has been handpainted with pink flowers and leaves. The interior of the box is uncovered.
