This 70mm camera, manufactured by J. A. Maurer, is the same type as those used in later Gemini missions during a variety of scientific photography experiments. The camera equipment for this camera included different types of film, lenses, and other filters. It is not known if this particular camera flew in space.

NASA transferred this camera to the Museum in 1976.
