Date 1944 Country of Origin United States of America Type AVIONICS-Radar/Electronic Warfare Physical Description 4 prism-shaped packets of thin strips of aluminum foil, wrapped in thin brown cardboard, then tan paper as outermost layer. Inner edge of tan paper adhered to cardboard, like a streamer. Wrapping otherwise not secured, only folded into position. 2 packets have handwritten inscriptions, others are unmarked. DO NOT UNWRAP. KEEP LEVEL or chaff will spill out. Dimensions 3-D (each, typical, 141g): 30.5 × 8 × 3.6cm, 0.1kg (1 ft. × 3 1/8 in. × 1 7/16 in., 0.3lb.)
