This uniform was worn by Air Marshal Sir Colin Hannah KCMG, KCVO, KBE, CB. Born 1914, he graduated at Point Cook in 1936. He served during World War Two in the South-West Pacific as Commanding Officer of No. 6 Squadron (Beauforts) and No. 71 Wing (a Beaufort Strike Wing), he was SASO (Senior Air Staff Officer) Western Area in 1944-1945. He served as the Australian Air Force Air Attache in the late 1968-69 before becoming Chief of the Australian Air Staff in 1970-72. After Hannah's retirement from the Air Force became the Governor of Queensland (1972-1977). Air Marshal Hannah died 1978.
