This is an example of a Royal Air Force war service dress blouse. The blouse was introduced into service in 1940 but became an official recognized by Air Ministry Order A1062 in October 1943. There is no known information concerning its use during the war and was donated by the Royal Air Force Museum as a gift for the opening of the National Air and Space building in 1976.
