This case is used for storing and transporting the sample of Indium Antimonide Crystal that was formed in space during the Skylab missions. The crystal sample and case were presented to President Gerald R. Ford and then transferred to the Museum in 1975.
This object is on display in Space Science at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, VA.
