When attached to a lunar rover, camera control units like this one would act as a base and control center for the RCA color television cameras meant to record lunar surface activities of astronauts on the last three Apollo missions. The bracket held the camera and could be remotely operated to pan and tilt the camera. This unit is only a mock-up and was created for a display version of the lunar rover.
NASA transferred this unit with Lunar Roving Vehicle #4 in 1975.
