Physical Description Ink and ink wash drawings executed on the inside and outside of a letter addressed to Mrs. Sandford of Bridge Street, Ludlow. The addressed side has drawings of proposals for steering and propelling balloons, and a wax seal in the bottom right corner. The wax seal appears to be a torch surrounded by greenery. The reverse shows a "Regency Buck" making a descent in an early parachute. Card included with letter identifies the artist as E.F. Burney, cousin of Fanny Burney, the famous diarist. Dimensions 2-D - Unframed (H x W): 18.6 × 22.9cm (7 5/16 in. × 9 in.)
