Hand-colored etching of the entrance of King Louis VXIII into Paris on May 4, 1814. Image shows the King riding in a carriage surrounded by soldiers. Citizens watch from the sides of the street and nearby buildings. A balloon is aloft over the procession. A woman is in the gondola of the balloon waving flags.
