General of the Air Force "Hap" Arnold's Five-Star Flag
Arnold is the only man to have held five-star rank in two services: the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force. This blue flag, in contrast to the red flag used by the Army, was created for Arnold as "General of the Air Force" in 1949. Arnold remains the only five-star general in U.S. Air Force history.
