This glove is an un-insulated glove from the Gemini era, and like many gloves of the time, were sometimes worn with the A-1-C suit.
The outer glove was made of white nylon, and provided protection for the inner glove. The inner glove was molded from rubber and nylon, forming a gas-tight bladder and, once attached to the outer glove, was fastened to the wrist disconnect by means of a clamping ring. 1.15 volt fingertip lights with independently powered 30 hr, 1.5 volt battery pack were attached. The lights were operated by moving a toggle switch on each hand.
Transferred from NASA in 1973.
