This intravehicular glove is part of the pair made for and worn by astronaut Jack Swigert, Command Module Pilot of the Apollo 13 mission in April, 1970.
The glove is constructed of a rubber/neoprene compound with a bladder, dip molded from a hand cast of the astronaut's hand. The interior has an inner restraint core of nylon tricot which was been dipped in a neoprene compound. A convoluted section is incorporated into the wrist, with red and blue anodized aluminum disconnects for attachment to the spacesuit. A finger-less glove restraint is attached to the bladder at the wrist and enclosed the entire hand excluding the fingers and thumb.
