This glove is part of a pair designed to be worn on the Gemini 2 mission. This full pressure glove was designed for high-altitude use and was constructed by the David Clark Company (DCC). DCC made these gloves for NASA as part of the preparation for the Gemini program. The G-2-C incorporated the lessons learned from testing DCC's first submission, the G-1-C.

The early Gemini gloves used a lace-up restraint on the back of the hand. Among its notable features is the aluminized outer fabric. The gloves used sealed connecting rings with sealed bearings in order to attach to the suit. The DCC also made improvements in the gloves to allow the astronaut to use the gloves more comfortably while pressurized. Designed before astronauts were expected to perform work in space, these gloves were considered state of the art.

NASA transferred this glove to the museum after the end of the Gemini program.
