Humanitarian Daily Ration
Rations like these were delivered by USAF C-17 cargo planes during the war on terrorism in Afghanistan. From the very first day, the Afghan people were targets of a monumental campaign directed at relieving hardship and creating good will toward the United States. Several different types of meals were produced but all were culture-sensitive allowing all religious groups to benefit from the contents.
