Depicts the first flight of the Montgolfier balloon on November 21, 1783. Shows the balloon aloft over a river with an image of Rozier's profile in the bottom corner. "Collection 476. 1re Sérre (No. 4) Romanet & Cie. Imp. Eqit. Paris." II. Depicts 5 numbered images. 1 and 2 are images of unidentified men. 3 shows a balloon aloft over a field. 4 shows the balloon "Le Progres." The last shows tools on a table. III. Depicts the descent of Jaques Garnein in a parachute in 1797. The image shows him in the parachute shortly after detaching the balloon.
