Uncolored stipple engraving of a portrait of John Sheldon. Sheldon, a surgeon and anatomist, offered fianancial support to J. P. Blanchard, and flew with him from Chelsea on October 16, 1784. Image shows Sheldon from the chest upwards on a plain background.
