Named after Clarence “Kelly” Johnson, the lead engineer and designer of Lockheed Skunk Works, the Kelly Johnson Award is awarded to individuals, teams, or projects in recognition of outstanding achievement in the field of flight test engineering. The award is given annually by the Society of Flight Test Engineers.
