This medical accessory kit was stowed in the Apollo 11 Command Module in a compartment on the right side wall beside the lunar module pilot couch. The kit has three component layers fitted with medical supplies and small medical equipment. It contains motion sickness injectors, pain suppression injectors, a two ounce bottle first aid ointment, one-ounce bottles of eye drops, nasal sprays, compress bandages, adhesive bandages, an oral thermometer and spare crew biomedical harnesses. Pills in the medical kit include antibiotics, nausea, stimulant, pain killer, decongestant, diarrhea, aspirin and sleeping.
This kit was flown on the Apollo 11 mission and was transferred to the Smithsonian in 1970 along other contents of the spacecraft.
