Marguerite Montaut Physical Description
Colored lithograph of a scene from Paulhan's flight from London to Manchester on his Farman biplane. Image shows the aircraft aloft over train tracks in an industrial area.
Ernest Montaut (1879-1909) produced maritime, motor sport, and aeronautical prints. It is assumed that later prints in his style, such as this one, were produced by his wife Marguerite--'GAMY' being anagram for 'Magy.'
