This is a world map with a translucent overlay of orbital paths. It was prepared for reference use by the crew of Apollo 11 and stowed in the Command Module "Columbia" during the historic first lunar landing mission. It was transferred to the Smithsonian in 1970 with the first transfer of flown Apollo 11 artifacts.
