Type A-8B Oxygen Mask

Standardized in 1940, the Type A-8 oxygen mask was similar in design to the Type A-7 mask but covered the nostrils and mouth. The Type A-8B differed from the A-8 in having two exhaust posts set on either side of the nose instead of one on the main line. It also had space for a microphone. The Type A-8B continued to be used from many years after World War II.
