Physical Description Medallion commemorating Charles Lindbergh's flight from New York to Paris in May 1927. Front shows Lindbergh's profile, along with his name and the name of the sculptor of the medallion. Reverse shows the Spirit of St. Louis flying over a hand holding a torch with the dates of the flight and the time. 'H. Teterger Éditeur' and 'E. Blin Sculpteur' is engraved on the sides of the image. Medallion still is housed in its original, hinged case. The case is brown leather with gold detail on the exterior. Interior is lined with green velvet and silk. Dimensions Medallion (Dia. x W): 6.7 × 0.6cm (2 5/8 × 1/4 in.)
