This is a model of the Agena upper stage with a CORONA camera system. Lockheed developed the Agena specifically for the CORONA photoreconnaissance satellite program and it was used in that program from 1959 to 1972. The Air Force and NASA also used it for a wide range of other military and civilian payloads until the 1980s. The manufacturer of the model is unknown.
It was donated by the Central Intelligence Agency in 1996.
