This is an unflown Central Rocket Company Rock-A-Chute model rocket motor made of pasteboard and containing non-explosive propellant. It produces a maximum thrust of 1.25 lbs, placing it in the range of the least powerful motors sold commercially. A motor is used only once to power a model rocket. G. Harry Stine, a pioneer in the field of flying rocket models, donated this artifact to NASM in 1973.
