Type ART-Prints, Original Medium Print, Etching on Paper, Uncolored Physical Description Uncolored etching of a portrait of Mr. Richard McGuire (or Maguire), a university student, who ascended from Dublin on May 12, 1785 in Richard Crosbie's balloon. Shows him in profile in front of the sea with a ship on the water and a balloon very close to the water. Description below notes that the balloon was blown out to sea and that Mr. McGuire had to be rescued. Dimensions Mat: 30.5 × 25.4cm (12 × 10 in.)
