Physical Description
Colored etching of the new London Bridge, which was opened on August 1, 1831. The image shows the bridge with a large tent lined with flags on top. The shore and the nearby buildings are full of people. Boats are on the water, holding more people and flags. A balloon is aloft in the sky above the bridge. Metallic dots have been adhered to parts of the scene for enhancement.
