A combined Pitot-Venturi tube for airspeed measurement of aircraft, circa 1917. The pressure measured by this tube mounted in the air stream was fed to an airspeed indicator in the cockpit.
This object is on display in Boeing Aviation Hangar at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, VA.
