Uncolored lithograph of a portrait of André-Jacques Garnerin (31 January 1769 – 18 August 1823). "Drawn and engraved by Edward Hawke Locker from a sketch made on their Aerial Voyage, July 5, 1802." Portrait shows Garnerin in profile among the clouds with a balloon behind him. A desk filled with the tools of an aeronaut is in front of his profile. Banner above his portrait says, "Audax Aereos Gaudet Tentarevolatus."
