This spacesuit was made for, and worn by Charles M. Duke Jr., lunar module pilot of the Apollo 16 mission that landed men on the Moon in April 1972.
The spacesuit was made by the International Latex Corporation, with the designation A7-LB, and when combined with the portable life support system and other components making up the extravehicular mobility unit, weighed approximately 185 pounds here on Earth.
Transferred from NASA in 1973.
