This full pressure suit is the 8th in the first series of early developmental suits made by the David Clark Company, the later versions of which were used in the Gemini program. This suit shows characteristics of both the Mercury and later Gemini suits, with the aluminized nylon cover layer and repositioning of the entry zipper to the rear.
NASA transferred this suit to the National Air and Space Museum in 1979.
