This G3-C spacesuit was made for and worn by astronaut Charles "Pete" Conrad during the Gemini 5 mission in August 1965, in which he was Pilot.
The suit was in the EV or Extra-Vehicular configuration, and consisted of five major assemblies, the main torso, helmet, boots gloves and neck seal. Additionally, he wore a constant wear garment and life vest assembly. The suit permitted freedom of movement, and was equipped with communication and bio-medical transmission equipment.
