This G4-C spacesuit was made for and worn by astronaut John Young, Command Pilot of the Gemini 10 mission in July 1966.
As worn by Young, the suit was in the EV or Extra-Vehicular configuration, and consisted of five major assemblies, the main torso, helmet, boots, gloves and neck seal. Additionally, he wore a constant wear garment and life vest assembly. The suit permitted freedom of movement, and was equipped with communication and bio-medical transmission equipment.
Transferred to NASM from NASA - Manned Spacecraft Center in 1968.
