Physical Description
Oil on canvas painting of T.S.C. Lowe's hydrogen generating balloon inflation wagon standing next to an army wagon identified as belonging to Hancock's Brigade No. 3. A number of Union soldiers are in the picture, including a mounted officer, perhaps Winfield Scott Hancock. A two-story house stands on a hill, with out-buildings. Barrels and a crate are on the bank of a river with sailing ships, steamboats, and other vessels moored off shore as well as coming and going.
