These are the motors for use with a Model Missiles resuseable flying rocket model patterned after the Aerobee Hi sounding rocket. The model is made mostly of wood and balsa wood. Operation entails firing of one of these solid propellant rocket motors followed by deployment of a parachute at the end of vertical flight. The model can be retrieved and used again. Model Missiles, Inc. made these motors and G. Harry Stine donated them to NASM.
This model was donated by G. Harry Stine, one of the American pioneers in the field of flying rocket models.
