This Remote Control Unit (RCU) was worn on the front of the spacesuit and was connected to the Portable Life Support System (PLSS). It provided the astronaut with the ability to monitor the life support systems and adjust the controls of the PLSS.
This object is on display in Destination Moon at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC.
