The Exceptional Service Award is only awarded to those members of the CAP who have performed an exceptionally outstanding service to CAP in a duty of great responsibility in any position. It is also the fourth highest decoration awarded by the CAP. This ribbon style is obsolete after the CAP redesigned the ribbon in 1982.
