The National CAP Summer Flying Encampment Ribbon was last awarded in the 1970s, and was received by Cadets after completing an Encampment course over the summer, also known as "Cadet School" or "CAP Basic Training". There is no current ribbon for this activity.

Civil Air Patrol (CAP) National CAP Summer Flying Encampment Ribbon; white background, vertical gold stripe on either side of ribbon; main body of ribbon is denoted by blue and red birds that are highly stylized into simplicity, with the wings of each touching the gold stripes; the blue bird is above the red bird, and it's body is covering the head of the red bird.
