This is an unassembled Swallow flying rocket model, made by Propulsion Dynamics The body of the rocket, fins, and nosecone are wood or cardboard. The kit does not include the motors or parachute.
G. Harry Stine, a pioneer in the field of model rockets, donated this artifact to NASM in 1973.
This object is not on display at the National Air and Space Museum. It is either on loan or in storage.
