This is a model of unknown scale of the LARS-003 rocket. In the 1970s, Colspan Environmental Systems received a U.S. patent on a cloud seeding system using this rocket. It is not clear whether the system ever saw operational use.

Colspan Environmental Systems built and donated this model to the Museum in 1972.
