These are a launch pad and launch controller for flying rocket models. Built mostly of plastic, they were made by Estes Industries. The flying rocket model would be placed on the launch pad. Wires from launch controller were hooked up to a power source and the igniters in the model's motor.

G. Harry Stine, an American pioneer in the field of flying rocket models, donated them to the Museum in 1973.
