This is a cubesat built and operated by Swarm Technologies. The company is establishing a constellation in low-Earth orbit of approximately 300 of these cubesats to provide low bandwidth service to any point on Earth. This service is designed to connect machines with machines and machines with humans - commonly referred to as the Internet of Things. Among other things, the constellation has been used to monitor water systems in several developing countries and monitor animal movements in selected nations. Swarm Technologies donated the cubesat.
