Physical Description
Colored etching of an ascent in a gas balloon by Charles and Robert. A crowd of spectators has gathered in the courtyard. One of the figures in the gondola has dropped his flag. Title and description of scene on the bottom in French and German. The image and title at the top have been printed in reverse because the print is meant to be viewed through an image reversing zograscope.
