The Apollo toolset provides multipurpose tools and/or attachments for mechanical actuations and valve adjustments. This component is labeled: Tool 1 - 3/8-Inch Socket, is used with the Tool W ratchet wrench to remove 3/8 inch nuts from bolts within the spacecraft.
This set was used during the Apollo 11 mission and NASA transferred it to the Smithsonian in 1970.
