This is a stand for a model of a ramjet powered vehicle made by the NASA Lewis Research Center (now Glenn Research Center). The Lewis Research Center was one of NASA's facilities that conducted research and development on ramjets for use for use in supersonic aircraft. Ramjets were actually used in several aircraft and missiles.
The Lewis Research Center made the model and stand and transferred them to NASM in 1966.
