This is a liuqid fuel rocket thrust chamber manufactured by the Reaction Motors Division of the Thiokol Chemical Corporation in the 1950s. It was used as a test article to obtain data for the design of the company's full-sized rocket engines.
Transferred to NASM from the Reaction Motors Division, Thiokol Chemical Corporation.
This object is not on display at the National Air and Space Museum. It is either on loan or in storage.
