Physical Description Colored lithograph of a balloon either descending or ascending on a mountain. Three men lay on the ground, apparently in pain. One man is standing on a rock and holding a rope that is tied to the balloon. A ladder and another long rope with an anchor tied to the other end are also dangling from the balloon. The balloon is at an angle, and the man in the basket is straddling the side of the basket. Labeled, 'Bocquin et. Eug. Ciceri lith. Imp. Becquet à Paris.' Appears to be one of a series of four lithographs of ballooning flights and falls. Dimensions 2-D - Unframed (H x W): 22.9 × 17.9cm (9 in. × 7 1/16 in.)
