Type ART-Miscellaneous Medium Stamps or Seals, Paper Physical Description Three balloon paper stamps or seals adhered to a paper backing. The images on the stamps are hand-colored etchings. The images and coloring on the stamps are all very similar, but the text is different. Top stamp: balloon is labeled 'GODFREY,' text around the edge says 'Pewter Toy Maker / Artillery Lane Bishopsgate.' Lower stamps: balloon is labeled 'Sparrow,' text around the edge says 'Nails and Sauce / Bishopsgate.' Sparrow stamps are attached to each other. Dimensions Godfey Seal: 4.1 × 4.1cm (1 5/8 × 1 5/8 in.)
