Sepia tone photograph of dirigibles USS Los Angeles and RS-1 docked in hangar. USS Los Angeles has visible tiedown lines and both servicing equipment around and under them. Small clusters of people are visible on the hangar floor around and under both airships. Incorporated into printing at center bottom, "U.S.S. LOS ANGELES AND THE R.S. 1 IN HANGAR" and at bottom right "ⓒ1929 / R. CLEMENTS JR."
The airship on the left is the USS Los Angeles. The airship on the right is the Goodyear RS-1, the first American semi-rigid airship. RS-1 was built in 1924 and first flown in 1926.
