Voisin Propeller, Fixed-Pitch, Two-Blade, Wood
The French manufacturer Voisin Aeroplane Company, established in 1905, was the first commercial aircraft company in Europe and one of the first in the world. It produced aircraft of its own designs, as well those by others such as Farman and Wright. During World War I the company produced many reconnaissance, bomber and fighter aircraft of its own design. These were used by many countries. Following the war, Voisin abandoned the aircraft business and entered the automobile manufacturing industry.
