The Westmoore Propeller Company was one of a large number of companies, such as manufacturers of furniture and pianos, that participated in the World War I era, but apparently did not continue producing propellers for very long afterwards. Applications of this type of propeller included the single-engine, two-seat, Curtiss N-9 naval trainer and bomber aircraft and the single-engine, single-seat Thomas-Morse S-4 Scout army and naval advance trainer.

This artifact was identified as from a Curtiss N-9 because of the engine type.
